About Nick

As part of the IT Security team Nick mitigates and prevents cyber-attacks, breaches and vulnerabilities, keeping GE employees and customers safe online.


Nick joined GE Capital UK as an apprentice, completing two 8-month rotations within the Service Delivery and IT Security teams. During this time he also studied networking, security, server administration and operating systems.


After completing his ‘challenging, rewarding and exhilarating’ apprenticeship in February 2015, Nick’s exceptional performance was rewarded with an offer to join the IT Security team in a permanent role.


Nick’s passion for computing saw him take part in a 48-hour ‘hackathon’.
